We are very sorry to hear that Professor Olga Rossi (University of Ostrava) passed away on October 17, 2019.

Professor Rossi was the EWM regional coordinator for Czech Republic and a member of the EWM-WIM Committee of the European Mathematical Society.

She was known for her research on global analysis, geometry and mathematical physics.

The EWM Standing Committee sends its condolences to her family and colleagues.
