Dear colleagues,

we are glad to announce the workshop “W-Math”, which will take place in the Emma Strada Hall at Politecnico di Torino starting on Thursday, December 1st 2022 at 2pm and ending on Friday, December 2nd 2022 at 1 pm.

The event aims at gathering influential women scholars working in the main research fields of the Department, who will deliver the following colloquia:

Claudia Ceci, Università degli Studi “G. d’Annunzio” di Chieti-Pescara
Barbara Fantechi, Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati
Benedetta Morini, Università degli Studi di Firenze
Michela Procesi, Università degli Studi di Roma Tre
Corinna Ulcigrai, Universität Zürich

There will be a round table discussion on topics related to the gender gap in Mathematics, with particular focus on the italian system. In order to maximize the participation, discussions  will be held in Italian.
