After the degree in Mathematics at the University of Parma, she moved to Rome where she obtained her PhD in Mathematics in 2007 under the supervision of Paolo Piazza.

She was postdoc at the Universities of Metz (France), Goettingen (Germany). In 2012 she was awarded a two-years Marie Curie Fellowship cofunded by the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica to work as a postdoc in Paris 7.

Since 2014, she is postdoctoral teaching assistant at the University of Potsdam (Germany).

Her topic of research is “Global Analysis and Noncommutative Geometry”.

As part of the activities organized by EWM at ECM Berlin in 2016, there will be the opening of a photography project documenting the lives, careers and work of thirteen female mathematicians.
