Applications are invited from candidates from all areas of Applied and Pure Mathematics for a three-year fixed term Assistant Professor post in the Department of Mathematics. Candidates will hold a PhD and may have several years of postdoctoral experience. We particularly welcome suitably qualified female applicants, and it is a priority to improve the gender balance in the department.

Preference may be given to candidates with an independent research agenda that will: (i) complement existing strengths in the Department; (ii) bridge between existing areas of expertise within the Department; or (iii) strengthen mathematical connections with application areas.
