Uni­ver­sity Pro­fes­sor – salary grade W3

in the field of “Math­em­at­ics – Math­em­at­ical Mod­el­ling of Indus­trial Life Cycles”.

The pro­fess­or­ship is part of the Wer­ner-von-Sie­mens Centre for Indus­try and Sci­ence (WvSC).
It is a permanent full-time position starting at the earliest possible.

The pos­i­tion requi­res rese­arch and teach­ing in the devel­op­ment, ana­lysis and imple­ment­a­tion of math­em­at­ical meth­ods for the auto­mat­ized, energy based gen­er­a­tion of model hier­arch­ies, for the data based iden­ti­fic­a­tion of model para­met­ers, as well as error ana­lysis and uncer­tainty quan­ti­fic­a­tion.
