University Assistant (PhD position)

Start date/duration: 15.02.2020 for 4 years

Job profile:
In this position you are expected to write a dissertation in a stimulating environment using the university’s infrastructure. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration. 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis.

Administrative Tasks

Qualification Requirements:
MSc or Diploma in Mathematics or equivalent qualification
Knowledge in numerical analysis – differential equations
English skills
Problem-solving competence
Independent work and high motivation
Experience with students
Team skills
Willingness to communicate with colleagues

Initially 20 hours per week. Once a written agreement on the dissertation has been reached, employment will be raised to 30 hours a week.
