Senior Lecturer, Reader or Professor in Pure Mathematics (two posts)

The University of Manchester’s Department of Mathematics is one of the larger integrated mathematics schools/departments in the UK, with approximately 80 permanent academic staff, 30 research assistants and fellows, 1,200 undergraduate students and 250 postgraduate students. Based in the purpose-built Alan Turing Building, the Department provides a friendly, supportive and collegial environment that fosters world-class research and teaching.
Applications are now invited for two positions in Pure Mathematics at Senior Lecturer, Reader or Professorial level. Applicants are sought in any area of pure mathematics that complements or extends existing expertise in the Department. Applicants should have a vision for the future of pure mathematics within the School of Natural Sciences and the potential to provide leadership to achieve it.
Applicants should have an established track record of outstanding research in pure mathematics and a genuine commitment to, and enthusiasm for, teaching, research and the development of others.
