Professor (W1 TT W2) of Mathematics

The Faculty of Mathematics of Bielefeld University invites applications for the position of
Professor (W1 TT W2) of Mathematics

starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will

show great potential for outstanding research,
have a strong track record of research in an area of pure mathematics (such as geometry, topology, representation theory, or number theory),
strengthen present or planned collaborative research initiatives of the department with her/his research,
contribute substantially to the department’s research and teaching as well as academic administration and self-governance,
be open to collaboration with researchers at Bielefeld University from within the department and from outside.
