Professor (f/m) of Mathematical Optimization

University of Graz, Austria:

The Institute of Mathematics and Scientific Computing at the Faculty of Natural Sciences is seeking to appoint a

Professor (f/m) of Mathematical Optimization pursuant to § 98 of the University Act (UG) (NF Kunisch)
(40 hours per week; permanent employment according to the Austrian Law on Salaried Employment (AngG); expected starting date October 1st 2020)

We are looking for a representative of the field of “continuous mathematical optimization and optimal control” in its entirety in research and teaching. Requirements are, in particular, exceptional scientific qualification and competence in teaching and leadership. In addition, we expect gender mainstreaming competence.
