Lecturer in Pure Mathematics Grade 7/8

£34,188 – £51,630 pa or pro rata

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics. The posts will be held in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, which is part of the School of Physical Sciences at the University of Liverpool.

You are an Early Career Researcher with an excellent track record in an area of Pure Mathematics including frequent publications in internationally recognised Q1 journals, be proficient in teaching both small and large groups, and have experience of student supervision and curriculum development and the ability to attract external research funding. Pure Mathematics in Liverpool has current strengths in Dynamical Systems, Geometry and Topology. However, the main criterion for appointment is excellence, and we encourage applications from mathematicians working in any field of Pure Mathematics. You will play a part in the development of the department through extending existing research networks within the University, building new networks nationally and internationally.
