Full Professorship (W3) in Pure Mathematics

The Mathematical Institute of the Faculty of Science at the University of Bonn invites applications for a
tenured Full Professorship (W3) in Pure Mathematics to be filled as soon as possible.
Successful candidates are expected to be internationally renowned in an area of pure mathematics, complementing and strengthening the areas represented by the existing research groups.
The successful candidate will be member of the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics and expected to actively participate in the acquisition of further third party research funding.
Knowledge of German language is not required.
The general conditions of employment are according to § 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine- Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen).
