We are inviting applications for a full-time postdoc position in “Mathematics” for a female scientist, starting as soon as possible for the duration of 6 years at the Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation, Vienna University of Technology. The minimum gross salary is about 3700 EUR per month (14 times per year). This position is part of a special action of the Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation to increase the proportion of women in the scientific staff.

The tasks include research and teaching. Depending on the research orientation  (e.g., analysis and/or numerics of (stochastic) partial differential equations),  the successful candidate will be assigned to the Institute for Analysis and Scientific Computing to work with, e.g., Profs. Anton Arnold, Ansgar Jüngel, Jens Markus Melenk, Dirk Praetorius, Joachim Schöberl, or Peter Szmolyan.

The application documents should include a comprehensive curriculum vitae and a  research statement (achievements, research plan, relation to current research at TU Wien) of max. 5 to 7 pages.
