Assistant Professor in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at LSE seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor. For this post, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in a subject area related to the Mathematics of Game Theory. The successful candidate will have an established track-record or trajectory of research at a level of international excellence, will be able to teach mathematics at undergraduate and postgraduate level and will have a commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to the general work of the department, including the teaching of a range of courses. She or he will maintain an active programme of research in mathematics and will have a clear, well developed and viable strategy for future outstanding research. She or he will have a PhD in a mathematical subject (or be close to completing one) by the intended start date of 6 September 2021.
