Nominations for speakers - EWM minisymposium ECM Berlin 2016

Call for nominations of five speakers in the EWM minisymposium at the ECM 2016 in Berlin

We  invite all members of EWM to submit nominations for one (or more) among five distinguished speakers for the EWM minisymposium at the ECM 2016 in Berlin. We encourage the nomination of young (up to 12 years from PhD, plus one year for every child)  and not yet well established women mathematicians, whose work is of such quality that it merits recognition and higher visibility at the international level. The nominees should have conducted independent research, obtained significant scientific results and should be able to give a good general talk, understandable to a wide audience.

Nominations should be signed by at least three endorsing mathematicians (including the nominator) and accompanied by a short paragraph supplying the reasons for the nomination, with a specific mention to the communication skills of the nominee.  The final selection of the speakers will be done by the joint EMS/EWM Scientific Committee.

Please submit your nominations before January 6th 2015 through the web page
